Fully integrated with IBMS, the new system enables the centralisation of all sales and traffic functions.

"Our strategy is to create a single, central repository of all critical data, from which we expect to drive significant gains in efficiency", said Carol Watson, Director of Technology & Services, at Flextech.

IBMS will be used to manage and streamline the full broadcast value chain at Flextech, the content division of Telewest Communications, including content acquisition, rights utilisation, media tracking, programme scheduling and promotion planning down to transmission.
