Pilat Media's Business Analysts carry out business reviews at the beginning of the project lifecycle to build a detailed understanding about the client's specific needs prior to the implementation.
When conducted at the start of the project a full Business Review will analyze all the client business areas and provide a detailed description of work processes and requirements, alongside a gap analysis that will identify all potential customization.
A Business Review typically covers the following;
Existing work practices of the client and how those can be transferred to Pilat Media solutions
Existing data requirements to ensure that all relevant data can be held within the new system
Existing reporting requirements, how those can be supplied and what, if any, extra reporting is required
Interfaces to other systems, both in-house and third party, in order to integrate the solution into the overall business systems environment
This analysis has two objectives:
Determine any extensions and customizations that may be required
Make recommendations on the use of Pilat Media's solutions to meet the client's existing and future goals
The study will utilize questionnaires and interviews to establish details of existing business practices and data requirements, as well as volumes of data to be processed.
The business review will produce a report and gap analysis; in addition the review may produce
A system definition in terms of set-up data
A high level training plan
A data migration plan
An implementation strategy
