MediaPro provides full customer management functionality, allowing users to maintain business, financial and personal contact data, define holding or group relationships, and establish agency/advertiser and advertiser/product links. Full correspondence history can be tracked and the module offers extensive mailing functionality. This module also provides access to current and historical information on deals, campaigns and invoicing and supports the management/tracking of sales targets and commissions by account manager, advertiser or period. Alternatively, MediaPro can be integrated with external CRM systems.
MediaPro is "product-centric" and provides rich functionality to define and maintain the advertising product tree, establish linkages between products and advertisers, agencies, departments and even individual planners. Product and advertiser clashes can be defined, using standard or over-ride rules as required.
Rate cards can be defined per channel and local channels can have separate rate cards if required. Breaks can be manually defined or maintained through interfaces to 3rd party scheduling systems. The module provides extensive support for diverse pricing and packaging options and allows advertising restrictions to be defined and enforced as necessary. The capture and, if required, manipulation of predicted ratings and the import of actual ratings is fully supported and MediaPro interfaces with all leading ratings/research agencies.
Within single and/or multi-year deals all necessary variables such as products, channels, constraints, discounts/surcharges and invoicing arrangements can be defined and maintained. The system will automatically ensure that campaigns implemented within a deal comply with all rules and constraints.
MediaPro supports Specific (ratecard based), Package and a variety of GRP based options; complex mixed campaigns are also supported. Campaigns can inherit discounts and constraints from the over-arching deal or be over-ridden if permitted. A wide variety of tools are available to the user to automate the booking process, optimize the resulting use of inventory and monitor the on-going achievement against targets.
MediaPro manages the maintenance of breaks and commercial copy and allows a variety of copy allocation/rotation rules to be specified. Reports monitoring running deals, providing commercial play and clip lists and monitoring commercial minutes are readily available. MediaPro already supports playlist/as-run interfaces with most scheduling systems and new interfaces can be quickly developed.
Invoices can be generated per campaign and for any specified period and at any time. Invoice layouts can be designed to replicate existing documents and interfaces with all leading finance systems are supported.
This optional module extends carefully controlled system access for use by media buying agencies. Utilizing a .Net browser-based interface, this module is highly intuitive to use and requires no client-side installation, making it quick and simple to deploy. MediaPro On-line allows agencies to view available inventory, request bookings and manage/monitor campaigns. The module also serves as a remote messaging center, facilitating two-way exchange of data, including remote delivery of order confirmations, invoices and reports.
MediaPro Today provides essential workflow management and is designed to ensure that all system administration activities are performed on time and provides a single central "dashboard" of critical information for each user or user type. Upon entering MediaPro, users are immediately taken to the Today screen where anything requiring attention will be highlighted, with simple direct access to the relevant screens/data to take the appropriate action. In a hectic sales environment the confidence that nothing can "fall through the cracks" and the ability to highlight the immediate critical activities makes MediaPro Today an essential business tool.
MediaPro offers a multi-layered approach to reporting. An extensive library of standard fixed reports is available within the normal system menus and will meet most day to day requirements. MediaPro Reports provides a powerful additional tool that enables users to create their own two and multi-dimensional reports and store these for future use. For clients with their own preferred reporting tools, MediaPro is open, exposing the necessary data using simplified data structures.
MediaPro is developed using core Microsoft technologies. This means that compliance with client technology standards is usually a formality but also that there is minimal overhead for technical administration and overall low cost of ownership. With both Client/Server and .Net (browser-based) options, MediaPro utilizes an industry-standard Microsoft SQL Server database that provides extensive capabilities for web-enabled (Internet) deployment, data analysis services (OLAP-reporting) and data interchange (with other client systems and Office products). MediaPro integrates with virtually any CRM, Finance, Channel Management and Research/Ratings products as well as supporting custom interfaces to internal systems or other third-party products.
