Pilat Media Global plc "Five" extends contract with Pilat Media for another six years
Press Release: 06 March 2007
Pilat Media Global plc ("Pilat Media" or the "Company"), the AIM listed provider of integrated business management systems for broadcasters around the world, is pleased to announce the extension of its software licence and support agreement with "Five", the UK commercial broadcaster that is part of the RTL group, by a further six years, to the end of 2012.
This renewal demonstrates the long term nature of Pilat Media's client relations. The contract value over the period is in excess of £4 million in licence and maintenance fees, excluding any additional software development revenues as new functional requirements arise. Five is using the Pilat Media software solution for channel management, including content acquisition, airtime scheduling, promotion insertion, and media trafficking.
Commenting on the announcement, Avi Engel, Chief Executive of Pilat Media Global, said: "We are pleased with the contract extension with Five which follows an existing five year relationship. This contract demonstrates our robust business model and service quality, resulting in long-term recurring revenues."
Grant Murray, Five's Finance Director, said: "Five is delighted to have extended its successful agreement with Pilat Media, and we look forward to continuing to work closely with their team in the years to come."
