Ron Barlev Chief Operating Officer
Ron supervises implementation projects, reviews project progress, directs project management and participates in Project Steering Committees and Governance Boards.
Prior to joining the Pilat Media in December 1999, Ron was a project Group Manager for SPL World Group Consulting in Israel. In this role he was responsible for the management of several information systems development projects, heading a team of 30 staff. Prior to this he held the positions of Chief Technological Architect of SPL World Group Consulting and was the Head of IT for the Israeli Defence Force Medical Corps, having previously qualified as a doctor.
Reporting to Ron are the development, QA, documentation, implementation and data conversion teams.
Aviv Atlas Head of Development (IBMS)
Avis oversees the product development and release management of Pilat Media's flagship product - IBMS, responsible for approx. 30 strong development team, and working closely with a similar number of deployment, QA and documentation experts. He has over 14 years experience in systems analysis, design, development, implementation and project management.
Mike Payton Head of Development (MediaMachine)
Mike joined Pilat Media in December 1999 when the company acquired Rebus Media Solutions. He was a member of the original team that began the initial development of MediaMachine in 1995, and was the technical architect for the product. Mike's role then evolved into the overall management of the Peterborough office.
Stephen Ottner Head of Business Analysis
With a BSc and MSc in Computer Science, Stephen has worked for Channel Four Television in the UK where he managed the selection and implementation of an airtime sales system in support of the newly formed sales department. Stephen has also worked as an independent consultant undertaking assignments for major broadcasters in business analysis, data mining, project management and bespoke applications. Having supported Tanning Technology in their successful bid for the development of a bespoke airtime sale system for BSkyB, Stephen worked for Tanning to lead the business analysis activity and subsequently for Maersk Sealand in Copenhagen as Enterprise Architect for all Yield Management activities. His particular experience and expertise in complex scheduling problems has lead to papers being presented at a number of conferences. Stephen is now Head of Business Analysis at Pilat Media.
Imel Rautenbach Head of IT
Imel is a MBA and MSc graduate in Information Systems. He has over 15 years of technical and development experience, specializing in Magic, Oracle and Informix. He is a qualified Oracle, Informix and Sybase DBA and has gained extensive experience of IT hardware, software, networking (LAN, WAN) and operating systems (windows, Unix, Linux). Imel has moved on from development and technical consulting to managing the technical installations and support services for all customers worldwide.
