Project managers are responsible for planning and managing the execution of major software implementation projects at some of our most strategic clients. As well as project management responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be responsible for the account management of our most strategic clients during the critical implementation phase of a project. Typical project value will be in the order $4 - $20 million with duration of up to 24 months.

Profile:

• Excellent Project and Programme Management skills. A background of managing complex, large, costly and high-risk projects and programmes.

• Ability to develop and lead change management activities.

• Formal qualification in project management such as PRINCE 2.

• Strong organisational and team building expertise.

• Well developed personal leadership skills and a proven background of organisational influence.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt the style to the situation when required and to implement communications in an inspiring and engaging way.

• Significant commercial acumen and experience.

• Experienced with client negotiation and management.

• Good understanding of project measurement and reporting techniques.

• Adaptable: able to cope with the changing needs of the business in a responsive way.

• Commercial: focus on the business impact and outputs of decisions in relation to the people aspects of change management.

• Sound judgement skills and ability to objectively weigh the options and maintain a position in the face of competing views.

• Ability to build trust with team and customers to effectively implement projects across the organisation.

• Experience working in a geographically dispersed, multi-cultural environment.

• Experience of the organisation and operation of a global organisation.

• Ability to manage resources and trade-off between efficiency, quality and time-to-market.

• Experience within the broadcasting industry will be advantageous.

• Prior implementation experience of a software product/professional services for large organisations is desirable.
